API Profiles – Filter Panel Explained

This article explains how to use the Filter panel in the API Profiles section to quickly locate, audit, and manage API integrations in Logixx CRM.


Location

Admin > Marketing > API Profiles > Filter


Purpose of the Filter Panel

The filter panel allows administrators to:

  • Quickly find specific API Profiles

  • Audit active vs inactive integrations

  • Identify profiles by data source or behavior

  • Reduce the risk of editing the wrong API Profile

  • Manage environments with a large number of integrations


Filter Options Explained

Controls whether profiles are filtered by their current status.

  • Active
    Displays API Profiles that can currently receive API requests

  • Inactive
    Displays API Profiles that reject incoming API requests

✅ Useful for audits, cleanup, or troubleshooting inactive integrations.


Data Sources

Allows filtering API Profiles by the Data Source assigned in the General tab.

📌 These values reflect configured Data Sources in the CRM and may vary by environment.


Code

  • Free-text search field

  • Filters API Profiles by API Profile Code

Use this when:

  • A partner provides a specific code

  • Troubleshooting API posting issues

  • Validating documentation references


Bypass Empty Value

Filters profiles based on the Bypass Empty Value toggle setting.

  • All – No filtering

  • Yes – Profiles where empty API fields do NOT overwrite existing data

  • No – Profiles where empty values CAN overwrite existing data

✅ Useful when auditing update-only integrations.


Add the app if the App# or ALV ID doesn’t exist

Filters profiles based on application creation behavior.

  • All – No filtering

  • Yes – Profiles that allow creating new applications

  • No – Profiles that only update existing applications

✅ Helpful to prevent accidental app creation during API troubleshooting.


Filter Actions

Apply filter

  • Applies the selected criteria

  • Updates the API Profile list immediately

Reset

  • Clears all selected filters

  • Returns to the default unfiltered view

Close

  • Closes the filter panel without applying changes


Common Use Cases

  • Find all active API Profiles that create new applications

  • Identify inactive profiles before deleting them

  • Locate the correct API Profile using a partner-provided code

  • Audit profiles that overwrite data with empty values

  • Quickly isolate profiles tied to a specific campaign or channel
