What is it & how does it work?
Distribution Profile is a customizable set of rules that determine how new leads are allocated to users and groups. This tool ensures that new leads are assigned to the most suitable sales representatives based on predefined rules, promoting fair and efficient lead distribution and addressing potential opportunities promptly. (Unassigned App)
Redistribution Profile enable organizations to reassign leads that have not been successfully engaged or converted by the initially assigned sales representatives. (Assigned App)
Method:
The Round Robin Method is designed to ensure a fair and balanced assignment of applications or leads among team members. This feature distributes or redistributes applications to team members in a sequential, repeating order, ensuring that each team member receives an equal number of assignments over time.
The Round Robin Distribution feature is an efficient and fair way to assign apps within a CRM system. It ensures equal opportunities for all team members while allowing flexibility and transparency in the app distribution process.
How to configure a Distribution/Redistribution profile?
Click on Admin > Marketing > Distributions
Click on Add or Edit (An existing profile)
Select Unassigned App (for Distribution) or Assigned App (for Redistribution)
Select the Data Group, Data Sources and Stage/Status
Multiple Data Sources can be selected.
The Data Group must match with the Data Group of the Data Source(s).
Multiple Stages/Statuses can be selected - the Stages/Statuses must match with the Data Sources (App Starting Point)
Behavior of these 3 fields is codependent.
Select the method (Round Robin)
Set the Schedules
Select the users to assign or reassign - Select the Roles (Optional)
Activate the profile (General Tab)
