ALV Underwriting tab

Overview

ALV Underwriting tab, a feature designed to give users fast, clear, and centralized access to automated underwriting results generated by the ALV underwriting engine.

This enhancement helps teams validate decisions, monitor automated processing, and review all key underwriting outcomes from a single, easy-to-navigate view.


What the ALV Underwriting Tab Offers ?

The ALV Underwriting tab displays the most recent automated underwriting results, providing a consolidated, real-time snapshot of each evaluation. With this information readily accessible, users can quickly understand the status of an application and how it was classified by the system.

This feature improves transparency, reduces manual follow-up, and streamlines underwriting review workflows.


How the Information Is Organized ?

The tab is structured into clear, helpful columns:

Created

Displays the date and time when the underwriting result was generated.

Status

Indicates the outcome of the underwriting evaluation (e.g., Approved, Pending, Rejected, Error).

Application Type

Shows the type or category of application assessed by the ALV engine.

Revision

Lists the revision number associated with the underwriting output, making it easier to track multiple evaluation runs for the same application.

Description

Provides a brief summary explaining the underwriting result.

UW Result ID

A unique identifier assigned to each underwriting result for reference and tracking.

Actions

Offers menu options for viewing additional details or executing related actions.

Viewing Full Underwriting Details

Within the Actions column, users can select “View Details”, which opens the ALV Underwriting Details screen. This screen provides a comprehensive breakdown of the underwriting result, including all validation messages, eligibility conditions, and system-generated findings.

In the ALV Underwriting Details panel appers the following info:

Record Information

  • Status

  • Application Type

  • Revision

  • Created

  • UW Result ID

  • Description

A detailed breakdown of all automated findings, including:

  • UPDATE_NEEDED items (missing applicant information, missing banking details, missing payment schedule data, missing hardship, missing income/expense information, etc.)

  • CONDITIONAL requirements (non-applicant waivers, joint debt conditions, creditor-specific rules)

  • INELIGIBLE determinations (debts below threshold amounts, unacceptable account types, primary account owner requirements)

The description lists each validation item individually, giving reviewers complete clarity on what must be corrected or reviewed further.

The Input JSON and Response JSON sections allow technical users or administrators to view the resulting data returned by the ALV engine.

ALV Underwriting Results in the Overview Panel

From the Overview section, users can also open the ALV Underwriting Results panel. This includes:

Severity Filters : Users can filter all findings by severity level.

UW Profile Filter: Allows filtering results for different underwriting profiles.

Detailed Issues List : Each line displays...

  • The name of the validation check

  • The system finding

This view mirrors the full underwriting detail but is embedded directly in the applicant’s profile for faster access.

Status Filter

Filter results based on underwriting status to quickly narrow your view.

Refresh Button

Reload the list at any time to ensure you’re seeing the most up-to-date underwriting outcomes.
