COMMUNICATIONS Dashboard

The COMMS dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of all communication activities via SMS and email, enabling users to monitor and analyze communication data within the CRM effectively. This dashboard centralizes SMS and Email insights in one accessible location.

Dashboard Structure

This report page is divided into three primary dashboards, each focusing on specific aspects of SMS and email communication. Below is the detailed documentation for the SMS TEAMS, EMAILS, and EMAIL TEMPLATE REPORTS dashboards:



SMS TEAMS Dashboard

The SMS TEAMS dashboard is designed to track SMS activity from a general overview to a granular team-level analysis. It includes key metrics, trends, and detailed data points to provide actionable insights.


Key Metrics and Features

  • Total SMS: This represents the total count of registered SMS in the system.

  • Sent SMS: This shows the total number of SMS successfully sent through the system.

  • SMS Received: Displays the total number of inbound SMS registered in the system.

  • SMS Read: Indicates the total number of read inbound SMS, referring to messages read by users.

  • SMS Send Errors: Tracks the total number of SMS send errors recorded in the system.

  • OPT-OUT Messages: Represents the total number of opt-out messages received and registered in the system.

  • SMS Direction by Date: Provides a date-wise breakdown of SMS, categorized into inbound and outbound messages.

  • SMS Status: Displays the status of SMS corresponding to the total count. Note that during daily reporting, the number of messages in the “sending” stage may initially appear higher but will decrease as more messages transition to the “sent” status.

  • User's Inbound and Outbound Messages: Highlights the total number of inbound and outbound messages per user.

  • SMS by Teams: Breaks down inbound and outbound messages by team, providing team-level insights.

  • SMS Types: Categorizes SMS based on the sending type, such as manual actions or automated triggers.

  • DNC/OPT-OUT by Date: Offers a date-wise breakdown of opt-out messages.

  • The SMS Details Table is a comprehensive table displaying key information for each SMS, including the associated application, user, team, creation time, content, read status, message type, status, and direction (inbound or outbound).


EMAILS Dashboard

The EMAILS dashboard is designed to track email activity across general, team, and user levels. It provides detailed insights into email performance, delivery, and engagement.


Key Metrics and Features

  • Total Emails: Displays the total number of emails generated in the system.

  • Sent Emails: This shows the total number of successfully sent emails registered in the system.

  • Emails Send Errors: Tracks the number of emails that could not be sent due to unexpected errors.

  • Sent Emails by Email Type: Compares manually sent emails to those sent automatically by the system.

  • Manual Sent Emails by User: Highlights the number of emails manually sent by each user.

  • Sent Emails by SparkPost Event Type: Displays email stages based on SparkPost event data. Initially, the data may show higher counts for unassigned statuses, but as the system updates with more information, statuses will be correctly assigned.

  • Emails by Date: Provides a date-wise breakdown of sent emails versus sent error emails.

  • Email Records Table: This is a detailed table displaying key information for each email, including Associated application, User, Team, Creation time, content, status, email type (manual or automatic), and delivery status.




EMAIL TEMPLATE REPORTS Dashboard

The EMAIL TEMPLATE REPORTS dashboard complements the EMAILS dashboard by focusing on email templates. It provides insights into template activity, usage, and performance.


Key Metrics and Features

  • Active Templates: Displays the total number of active email templates in the system.

  • Active Templates: Displays the total number of active email templates in the system.

  • Inactive Templates: Shows the total number of inactive email templates in the system.

  • Total Email Template Logs: Represents the total number of logs for email templates.

  • Total Successfully Sent Templates: Indicates the total number of email templates successfully sent.

  • Fail Sending Email Templates: Tracks the total number of email templates that encountered sending failures.

  • Manual Sent Templates: Displays the total number of templates sent manually.

  • Templates Usage by Date: Provides a daily breakdown of the number of templates sent, categorized by template.

  • Email Template by Sent Number of Times: Highlights the number of times each template has been sent.

  • Templates by SparkPost Event Type: Displays email stages based on SparkPost event data. Initially, the data may show higher counts for unassigned statuses, but as the system updates with more information, statuses will be correctly assigned.
