Admin > SMS History

The SMS History screen allows admins to view and manage all SMS communications sent or received via the system. This feature is especially useful for auditing, tracking delivery status, and identifying unread messages.

Location

You can access this feature by navigating to:
Admin > Service > SMS History


🔍 Filters

The top section of the SMS History screen contains filters to help you refine your search. You can filter messages by:

  • Time: Select a date range to view messages sent or received during a specific period.

  • Status: Filter by message status (e.g., Delivered, Failed, Pending).

  • Direction: Choose between inbound or outbound messages.

  • Phone Number: Enter a phone number to narrow results to a specific contact.

  • App: Filter messages related to a specific application or record.

Filter Actions:

  • Apply – Apply the selected filters.

  • Clear – Reset all filters.

  • Close – Exit the filter panel.


📋 Table Columns

The SMS messages are displayed in a table with the following columns:

Column

Description

Time

Timestamp of when the SMS was sent or received.

App

Linked application associated with the SMS.

Direction

Indicates whether the message was inbound or outbound.

From

Sender’s phone number.

To

Recipient’s phone number.

Text

Content of the SMS.

Sent By

Name or ID of the user/system that triggered the message.

Status

Current status of the SMS


✳️ Unread Message Controls

Unread SMS messages are visually indicated in the list.

  • Mark All Read: Use the three-dot menu in the top-right to mark all unread messages as read.

  • Per-Message Action: Each message row also includes a three-dot menu "Mark as Read/Unread" button in its action menu.
