Managing Data Source Visibility with Role-Based Permissions

The Data Source permission allows administrators to control access to specific fields within Logixx CRM. With this update, certain fields can be hidden from users while remaining accessible to others and reporting teams. This ensures sensitive data is only visible to authorized roles.


What Fields Are Affected?

When the Data Source permission is disabled for a role, the following fields will be hidden:

  • Provider

  • Provider ID

  • Data Group

  • Data Source

These restrictions apply to:

  • Overview Tab

  • Pipeline View

  • Sorting and Filtering by Data Source


How to Configure the Data Source Permission

Admins can manage this permission through the role settings:

  1. Go to Admin > Security Setup > Manage Roles.

  2. Select a role to configure.

  3. Navigate to the Basic Tab and go to the Apps section.

  4. Find the "Data Source" permission and toggle it on/off based on the role’s requirements.

  5. Save changes to apply updates across the system.
