Manage Roles > App Permissions

The App Permission tab defines access to specific pipeline statuses within the CRM. These permissions determine what actions a user can perform as leads and applications move through the sales and underwriting process.

Layout Overview

  • Pipeline Status – Displays all available statuses in the CRM pipeline (e.g., New Leads, Pending Credit, UW in Process).

  • Permissions Setting – Allows you to configure role-based access for each status.

  • Copy from Other Role – Shortcut option to duplicate permissions from an existing role.

  • Filter (Top Right)

    • Allows administrators to quickly search for specific statuses or permission types.

    • Options:

      • Status → Select a pipeline stage (e.g., Pitched, Pending Credit).

      • Permission → Select the access type to filter (e.g., Lead, View apps - own).

    • Apply → Activates the filter.

    • Clear → Resets filters to show all statuses.

    • Close → Hides the filter window.

  • Permission Types

Within each pipeline stage, administrators can assign different levels of access:

    • Lead
Grants visibility and control over the lead record at that stage.

    • View Apps – Own
Allows the user to view only their own applications in that status.

    • View Apps – All
Grants visibility to all applications in that stage, regardless of ownership.

    • View Apps – Team
Allows the user to view applications belonging to their team (defined by team hierarchy or assignment rules).

⚠️ System Rule: Some permissions (especially for Lead Pool Statuses) are automatically set by the system. Adjusting them has no impact, as indicated in the footer note of the page.

Tip: Combining Basic Permissions with App Permissions ensures that users not only have access to modules (Tasks, Reports, Apps) but also to the correct stages of the workflow.
